RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests range over the following areas: psycholinguistics •
neurolinguistics • bilingualism • language acquisition • semantics • philosophy of language.

I am particularly interested with how and the extent to which language
relates with other cognitive mechanisms. Conceptual issues such as
the relation between language and thought; what though is made of;
the extent to which language is innate; where and how language is
represented in the minds of monolinguals and bilinguals.

I am now doing research on the influence of grammatical gender on object
categorisation and colour terms on colour perception.

If you have any questions about my research, please do not hesitate to
